JOB INTERVIEW EXPERIENCES AS AN ENTRY LEVEL CANDIDATE

We all know how the employment market can be. Regular coffee with lots of sugar for me today. I need to wrap my head around my last experience on my job interview. This morning I woke up 4 am and begin my regular morning routine at the gym to get spunk up for my job interview in Brooklyn at 10am sharp. I am usually over prepared. I am skilled in knowing how to command the attention of the Interviewer the minute I walk through the doors of the conference room to exiting the building as I have strong professional presence. The secretary that greeted me at the front desk distracted me with her dress code.
Literally can her skirt get any shorter? Punanny mini! It's obvious she is aggressively seeking a man as she undressed me with her perfectly masscared eyes and bright pink in color matte lip stick. I mean if she was walking her dog in the park, I would maybe strike up a conversation to understand if she is in the dating world. As she escorted me to the conference room, I was attracted to her walk. She made sure she walked in front so I can get a clear view if you have not experince that before. She really don't need to wear that specific type of mini skirt, as I can observe that she takes her workouts seriously. I am attracted to that actually.
As she seated me around the conference table, she was very polite in asking if I would prefer bottled S. Pellegrino water or Mountain Spring poured in a glass. S. Pellegrino bottled water of course. It's free. The seat felt real comfortable. That took away my nervousness as this was a panel interview. This is my seventh job interview after finishing college with only three offers thus far.

I am focused on the stability a job opportunity has to offer. I have learned that after investing 250K on my undergraduate, being employed by one company alone cannot determine my career path. I am more focused on the stability on the benefits that is being offered to me such as healthcare, dental, vision, and life insurances. I want matching 401K with paid sick leave. I want flexibility in my schedule to have a personal time in the event I need to run to the DMV.

Personal time for me can even be 3 hours early before I get to work. So I can pick up my hours in the evening or something. I had one offer that only gave sick days but no benefits at all with a reasonable salary. I think we are first blinded by the salary. Simply becasue we are in debt to pay off our school loans. Most importantly to be financially stable to handle all our day to day needs.

Stability for me is choosing a job opportunity that is going to ensure me a benefit package that is of substance. It needs to include healthcare and cover dental. I had one offer that gave me a gym membership. It was okay, as I would just stop paying for my current gym membership plan. I need to be realistic when choosing these offers. I need to be productive all way round while striving to have a balance in my lifestyle.
